Vicki on Miss Marley Moon

Vicki is a BHSII Senior Coach in Complete Horsemanship based in Frodsham, Cheshire, with an experienced and varied equestrian background: having worked with competition horses, riding school ponies, young stock and race horses. She offers experienced instruction for all clients - from the complete novice, requiring help with balance and confidence, to competition preparation to gain those extra few marks or knock off a few more seconds in show-jumping, cross country and dressage. Vicki will come out to teach you at your own yard or to a hired location.

Vicki regularly competes her own eventer, as well as competing clients' horses when required. She competes her own horse to BE-level, and so is able to assist riders wishing to reach this high level of competition standard. For those just getting started with a young horse or wanting to feel confident taking their horse and enjoying a family day out at a local Sunday show, Vicki is available to attend shows to either ride or assist course-walking and warming up.

As a petite rider, Vicki is suited to riding all types of horses: from children's ponies to rehabilitating race-horses. As well as teaching, Vicki offers intensive or long-term schooling, exercising and clipping.

Vicki is married to Ben Plackett who has over 20 years experience in flat-racing, National Hunt racing and Endurance racing to FEI-level, and was picked for the Development Squad for the British team. Between them they have a wealth of knowledge and experience stemming from different approaches to equine management.
